How to survive walking 100km Melbourne Oxfam Trailwalker?
Perform Podiatry has committed to completing the 100km Oxfam Trailwalker, in Melbourne which will be held 2-4th May 2014. Each team consists of four trailwalkers who will walk the 100km together to raise funds for Oxfam. Oxfam provides support to people around the world living in poverty.
The Perform Podiatry team includes three of my friends Bryce, Chantelle and Jenna, all who have varying levels of fitness. Fitness levels range from Bryce Leigh, who represented New Zealand in the 2012 Age Group World Long Course Championship in Spain to me a casual runner.
Perform Podiatry has set out to achieve three goals for the 2014 Oxfam Trailwalker:
– Get all four members over the finish line
– Finish with healthy and fresh looking feet
– Raise over $3000 for Oxfam
In the lead up to the event you’ll be able to find useful advice on our Teamspace on how you can survive the Oxfam Trailwalker as well as follow our teams progress towards the finish.
